In the lower right corner of software screen is the “Register Now” button. When clicking on it the software opens a window to insert and activate the license key, as well as to register a Premium version. Clicking on register a new tab or window will open in the Internet Browser to let you fill in the information and place an order.
Activation key/code will be shown on the post-purchase screen where you can copy and paste it directly into software. The activation key is also sent through message on your specified email address.
When the software shows the home screen with results underneath the “Status” tab, in the lower screen of the Shield Antivirus is the button “Register Now”. Click on the button and the software will open a registration and license window.
If you already have a license key, fill in the form with your first and last name, email through which notifications will be received, license number key you received. After filling the form click “Activate” button below the form. A confirmation will be received. To continue using software exit the window by clicking the cross in the upper right screen.
Scanster Anti Malware
When Anti Malware is opened, the first Scanster is the scan. Click on the Scanster and choose the type of scan.
Anti-Malware is designed for simplicity and ease of use. All you need to do is register online or over the phone. Enter the activation code as described below.

Opening the software the middle symbol represents active scan, which means your computer is protected all the time. If beneath the symbol it clearly says “Enabled”. The engines are working in the background.

Identity Theft Preventer

The Identity Theft Preventer installation is a simple 3 steps process:

Windows 7
- In the lower left corner of your screen, click Start –> Click Control Panel –> Click Programs and Features
- Click Identity Theft Preventer At the top of the screen, click Uninstall
- Follow the on-screen prompts until finished
Windows 8 – 10
- In the lower left corner of your screen, right click on the Windows flag –> Select Apps and Features
- In the Apps and Features window, locate, and click on, Identity Theft Preventer Select the Uninstall option
Follow the on-screen prompts until finished
From the main screen, select Register Now.
If you already have your license key:
Fill in the activation prompt with your first and last name, email through which notifications will be received and the license key and then select Activate.
* it is recommended to use the copy>paste option rather than manual typing of the registration key to avoid typos.
As soon as the activation process is complete, follow the on-screen prompts to configure Identity Theft Preventer.
If you do not have a license key:
Click the ‘Register Now’ button and follow the license registration process.
Once you have obtained your license key, return to the activation process above.

– A click on the Update option will check if a new version available.

A new screen will pop up prompting you to insert all information regarding the passwords and usernames you want to save for a specific account. Once you have filled in the required information click OK and your new entry has been added and saved to Scanster Password Manager.

If you have lost your Scanster Password Manager Database created the first time the software was launched, type the name of your database in the search all programs and files option on your computer.
To change your master password click the “file” tab in Scanster Password Manager. This will cause a drop down screen to appear. Select the option “change master key” and you will be prompted to enter in your new password.
To add a new category to your database first click “my database” in Scanster Password Manager. Then click the “edit” tab located at the top of the window. Next, click “add category” to create a new category. Next, enter the name of the category and click “ok.”
Scanster Privacy Shield
Scanster Privacy Shield is free to try. The trial period lasts for 14 days, during which you can scan and see the report. The cleaning and other features are enabled in Premium version only.
